10:30 am – Continuing Education program entitled “Reshaping Buy-Sell Planning after Connelly: Legal & Practical Considerations”, # 6000194972 approved for 1 hour of General Credit The US Supreme Court’s 2024 decision in Connelly v. U.S. has upended buy-sell planning for every business owner potentially facing an estate tax. This presentation will examine the tax, legal and practical implications of this decision and provide analysis of several potential innovative solutions. 11:30 am – Lunch and networking 12:00 pm – Keynote speaker, Sen. Mark Mann, OK Senate District 46. Senator Mann is a licensed insurance professional and member of NAIFA – Oklahoma City. He was elected to the Senate in 2024 and his district covers Del City and parts of Oklahoma City. He serves on several committees including: Business & Insurance; Education; and Revenue & Taxation. 1:00 pm – Adjournment |
